This collaboration with our client JCC was to create a mobile app which allowed unified payments through a mobile application available on iOS and Android. This was before the launch of Apple pay and Google Wallet services in Cyprus, hence allowing people to pay merchants through their mobile phone was a highly requested need. JCCup Merchant was the app utilised by merchants who wanted to accept payments via the JCCup user app. Through the app, merchants were able to create their own QR codes for payments requested by users, which then was scanned by users through the JCCup user app. This allowed contactless mobile payments at merchants. The merchant application also provided analytics and revenue monitoring so merchants could keep an accurate track of their incoming funds.
